For the past year or so Nokia fans been saying here on Engadget:
- Symbian is great
- USA people like Engadget hate non-USA Symbian
- Symbian has great UI, just looks ugly, but we have themes so it’s all OK!
- Symbian is NOT outdated
- Symbian is so efficient that it’s OK that we get crappy CPUs on Nokia phones (apparently they all forgot about the N97 fiasco)
- iPhone and Android succeeded only because of marketing
- Browser is no problem just use Opera
- Symbian is great and there’s no problem, just wrong perception by narrow-minded USA media
- You think UI is not good? Again use a different theme, it solves all!
- Why do I want other smartphones? Look at the list of features. It’s longer than a great whale!
- No apps? No problem! Qt, Qt, Qt, Qt, Qt, Qt….
and now after all that war cry by Nokia fans defending Symbian…
Nokia:
“Symbian sucks and we have to move on”
